WELCOME ME (Amy Ray)
--------------------
(Actually in A; capo 2.)
(Each chord is one measure. There are variations within the measures that
I haven't noted here, mostly changing C and D to C(add9) and D(add9).)
(Am) Am G
Welcome me to the city of angels
D C
Devil prophets still hold my hand
Am G
I walked your stillborn streets for hours
D C(add9)
Ethnic echoes spitting out their trials
G D
They tell me I'll, I'll be the first to praise the sun
C G
The first to praise the moon, the first to hold the lone coyote
D
The last to set it free
Am G
Welcome me to a haven given
D C
It's well received into my open arms
Am G
I ran in my sleep through shaking tremors
D C
I felt the splitting earth echoing in my ears
G D
And I feel that I'll, I'll be the first to praise the sun
C G
The first to praise the moon, the first to hold the lone coyote
D
The last to set it free
Am G D C
Am G D C
G D C G D
Am G
Welcome me to your city of angels
D C
See, there's a devil monkey laying on our backs
Am G
Now tell me, where's the heart, where's the bullet for breaking?
D C
Who's gonna give me a weapon, a pacifying weapon?
G D
And I need it I'll, I'll be the first to praise the sun
C G
The first to praise the moon, the first to hold the lone coyote
D
The last to set it free, I said,
G D
I said welcome me I'll, I'll be the first to praise the sun
C G
The first to praise the moon, the first to hold the lone coyote
D C(add9) G
The last to set it free

Good tab, but I'll never understand why anyone would make a tab and then after the first two verses say "use the same chords for the rest" and then just put the plain lyrics. Why even bother submitting it? I get that they repeat, but I wish you had written out the chords for the whole song. Maybe it's just me
